Class Name Class Description Days Offered
Bike Class Students will ride with Josh Adler and learn how the bicycle can be the fastest, most convenient way around town and a great source of exercise. Most of all, we will have fun seeing new places around town! Tuesday and Thursday 3-5 PM
Cooking Youth learn to prepare and cook full-course traditional Latin American meals and desserts from countries like El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, and Guatemala. Wednesday 3-5 PM
Estudio Ollin In six weeks, Johnny Hernandez will teach youth a.) introductory pattern designs used in jewelry- making, then b.) practice soldering. Tuesday and Thursday 3-5 PM, Open Studio Wednesday 3-5 PM
Graffiti Arts In collaboration with the Definitive Education program (DEF ED), Darren Villegas will cover some basic painting and sketching skills used in mural arts. Monday 3-5 PM
Mission Voices Mission Voices Summer (MVS) Program is organized by Southern Exposure's Artist in Education program. Lead artists, interns, and youth work collectively to transform the CELLspace gallery! Tuesday and Thursday 3-5 PM
Spoken Word Instructor Marc Pinate is a poet, playwright, cultural worker and teacher. In this class, Marc guides youth to challenge themselves and find and outlet in which they may express themselves through oral tradition. Monday 3-5 PM
